Writing articles for revenue is one of the best places to begin when it comes to getting started with passive income.  When it comes to choosing a site to write, hands down the best choice is Infobarrel.com.  Infobarrel provides a platform to write about your passions, hobbies, interests and whatever else your heart desires that you feel will appeal to others.  Infobarrel then places google adds in certain areas of the page for readers to click on, allowing you to earn money.  Proper formatting of an article will allow a better chance of readers to click on your articles add’s.  Here are some formatting tips for the best use of your time and chances of earning revenue.

Avoid Too Much Clutter

Clutter can be anything from an overload of affiliate links, too many videos, too many back links, etc.  This creates “analysis paralysis”, or a sense of being overwhelmed by to much to take in.  It can also appear salesy and insincere when an article is littered with affiliate links.  Only add pertinent affiliate items, usually two per article will suffice.  One or two videos is also plenty.

Article Length

An article on average should be anywhere from 4-500 words.  This is just enough length to keep a readers attention over a short period of time.

First Paragragh

The first paragraph of your article should be close to 150 words.  This will make it so that the size of the first paragraph and the size of the top page add will be the same length.  When the intro paragraph and the add to it’s side match up and appear symmetrical, it greatly increases the chances of a reader clicking on that particular add.

Bold Text Titles

When you divide your article into paragraphs, make sure each paragraph title has a bold title.  This will provide a table of contents so to speak for the reader.  It allows them to scroll down and skim the key points.  By being able to navigate easier through an article, the reader will retain more and gain extra interest.

Spacing

Breaking your article into paragraphs will increase the chances of a reader going through the entire article.  When 4-500 words are just clumped together in one lump sum, it is a turn off.  Instead, by providing paragraphs with proper spacing, it divides the article into small unique sections are much easier to handle and digest.
